the kind of support a woman needs

I'm not talking about your friends, your partners, your parents, or your husbands. I'm talking about bras. Some women underestimate the importance of getting a good bra. When I got pregnant and experienced an increase in my breast size, I realized all the more how important it is to wear a good, comfortable bra lest you end up with sagging breasts after a few years. Not to mention that a bra with good support is very helpful in improving one's posture. Of course, if you're one of those who prefer the lacy kind, there are bras like Prima Donna Bras that gives attention to aesthetics as well. Their bras uses high quality fabrics that ensures it from frequent wash and wear. Now, that's the support I'm talking about.

a solid investment

Ramil and I have been mulling for some time whether to buy a house, buy a car, or start a business. Of course, we would very much love to do all three but we can only do it one at a time. Because of our rental costs, we're leaning towards investing in a house right now. Investing in real estate is one of the more solid kinds of investment. More often than not, the value of a real estate investment increases with time. A lot near where we work is for sale right now and it seems to be perfect for us. Unfortunately, we're going to be needing bigger funds since it's bigger than what we're targeting. Oh well, another option will always come up.

Brisbane where?

Do you know where Brisbane is? I myself wasn't very familiar with the place until my aunt came here for a visit. She talked about places she's been and Brisbane is one of these. She's living in Sydney and has visited different locations in Australia.

Yup, Brisbane is in Australia. Although Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and others are more popular names of places in Australia, Brisbane is also worth visiting. There are a lot of options in Brisbane accomodation. For the beach lovers, this is one of the places in Australia that has beaches close to it. Aside from beaches, one of the popular activities here are bushwalking and camping. Hotels in Brisbane are not difficult to find. The Moreton Bay is one of the popular spots in Brisbane. There's also the markets and festivals.

With cheap hotels in Brisbane, it's a good place to visit. My aunt recommends going there if and when we get the chance to visit her in Australia.

NBA live

Despite not really being a basketball fanatic, one of my dreams is to watch an NBA game live. I'm not particular about which team I get to watch, as long as it's one of those better teams. Hehe! I could only curl up with envy when my grandma's friend has a bunch of Miami Heat Tickets. She was actually giving them away! According to her, she met someone who works with the Miami Heat team and he gave her some tickets. How I wish I was there to get myself some! Some people find it hard to get tickets that they want and here she was giving them away. Good thing there are online ticket brokers now, it makes buying them so much easier. Oh, and yeah the tickets are courtside.

outdoor cooking

I've been writing my raves about the house we will be moving into in two weeks. As days pass by, I'm slowly noticing more things that I know I would like better once we've moved in. One of these things is cooking. Although I've enjoyed it more now ever since we've had househelp, I still look forward to cooking in the new house. The kitchen is nicer and has more space. It even has a small outdoor kitchen for the messy stuff. Hopefully, I get to try out more dishes. I hope to get better at cooking soon!

fashion for men

I've always admired men who have good taste in fashion. With the invention of the word metrosexual, there is now a term reserved to describe men who exude a sense of style and fashion. For men wanting to know what's hip in men's fashion, there's Belisi on Stylehive to help them get a pulse on it.

For a man, a necktie is one of the most-noticed accessory. A necktie can make or break your look. Belisi has a great collection of ties for any kind of look you may want. There's something for women too. Belisi specializes not only in ties but also in scarves and handbags. These accessories are just as important when dressing up. Picking the right kind of accessory to go with your clothes can be very tricky. Belisi makes choosing accessories pretty easy.

great vacation set-up

My parents use to have some time-sharing privileges in a beach resort in Boracay. Sadly though, they've decided to stop paying for it because they don't get to use it much. Some of our relatives love to go on vacations. They make sure to unwind and relax in a beach resort every few months or so. One of their favorite destinations is the Outer Banks. This place in North Carolina has great beaches and has a lot of vacation rental homes. I hope we get to join them in one of their trips to the beach. I'm sure it would be a really relaxing vacation.

techie help

I must admit that I am not much of a techie. Though I keep myself updated on the latest technology, I can hardly call myself an expert. It's a good thing that there are sites that offer helpful Tweaks like craze4tech. Having a site that gives tips and advices on any tech problems out there gives nontechie people like me a big sigh of relief.

Trucks, Cars, and SUV's in One Place

With so many cars out there, sometimes it's hard to know which one is the best, or even which Kansas Car Dealer will work hardest to help you. The answer for every question always seems to be Conklin. They have hundreds of cars from nearly a dozen manufacturers, and the service and experience that will have you coming back for years to come. I know you don't like buying a new car, and I know you're stressing out about it, but that's why I think you'll like Conklin. They are the leading Newton, Kansas Used Cars dealer not only because of the vehicles they offer, but because of their commitment to excellence. I'm sure you'll be impressed.

nutrivalue

Have you always planned to go on a much-needed nutritional diet? Have you always said to yourself that tomorrow or next week, you'll start your weight-loss program? Somehow, a lot of people find sticking to a diet very difficult. Some need it for weight loss while others need it for health reasons. It's easy to stay on a weight loss program with Nutrisystem Nourish Program. With this, you get three meals a day with snacks for 28 days so that you stick to eating the right foods while on your diet. Weight loss and eating have never gone together as easy as this.

The top manufacturers all in one place.

Why spend your time going from dealer to dealer when you can go to the Hutchinson, Kansas Car Dealer that has vehicles from 10 different manufacturers? There's nothing worse than going to a dealer, not finding anything you like, and then having to leave and go someplace else. With Conklin, if the first car you see isn't what you're looking for, they have hundreds more to choose from. That sounds good to me. You can go to lots of places in Kansas for Used Cars, but when you go to Conklin you're getting quality vehicles and service that no other place can compete with.

ants away

When Ramil and I first moved in our current house, we were so amused that we actually have our own backyard, with several fruit trees to boot! The place has this nature-feel to it that we knew we want to have our own place with lots of green in it too. After a few weeks though, we experienced some of its disadvantages. Ants started invading our house! They're not the usual kind of ants too. They are big and red, we think they are actually fire ants. We tried several ways of preventing them from going inside the house, not really knowing where their mound is. After trying different tactics, we were able to limit their movements outside the house. If you're having the same ant problems, some sites on controlling fire ants are available and very helpful. Don't let the ants rule your house... :)

easy business

Are you interested in some easy business opportunities? Then check-out the vendstar! It provides you with the opportunity of being your own boss, ain't that everyone's dream? Vendstar has been a manufacturer of candy vending machines since 1990. Imagine having your own vending machine! Although dentists will not be too happy with this business, children surely will. Place your vending machine inside a mall and you're on your way to financial freedom. You don't even have to watch over your business and no need to hire anyone also. You could stay home, set your own working hours, and earn at the same time. Now that's easy.

get some online savings

One of the perks of earning online is having some extra money to do some shopping online as well. While doing some online 'window-shopping', I thought of looking for some online coupon codes first before doing any serious buying. One of the best sites to get those coupons is KeepCash.com, where there are an amazing number of coupons for different stores.

They currently have several coupons for The Body Shop, my total pampering shop! I've been desperately wishing for some pampering these past few months and this just might be what I need. I could get those skincare products using some of the coupons in KeepCash. It's time for some online shopping.

burn it

I have yet to lose some of my pregnancy pounds and flabs. Although I'm confident that I can lose the pounds if I set my mind to it, shedding the flabs is another problem. It can be very difficult to firm up loose skin here and there brought about by pregnancy-related skin-stretching. Losing weight can be pretty easy with different kinds of weight loss diet pills like Miracle Burn. These weight loss diet pills let you burn the fat without the hassle. Reaching your weight goal is not so difficult after all.

vend it

One of the business opportunities Ramil and I are mulling over are vending machines. We visited the site of multivend and the possibilities for a vending machine looks promising. It would be a hit in any school. It is one business where you can have other jobs while your vending machine is also making money for you. You don't even have to hire anybody to look after your business. It would be even more profitable if you place it inside a mall. There are also different products to choose from though candies are one of the most profitable products for vending machines. Not to mention that they require a relatively small start-up amount. This definitely needs serious considering.

mixing races

I know a lot of girls who have married a foreigner. I even used to know someone who specifically looked for a European to marry so she could have beautiful children. With the internet, making this come true is a reality for a lot of people out there. Meeting members of the opposite gender is now as easy as 1-2-3. One only has to check out different dating sites to find one. With a site that specializes in interacial dating and interacial personals, meeting someone who is also open to having a relationship with someone of a different nationality is easier. The site interracialromance.com is one such site. There will be a lot of racial mixing happening... :)

mateo @ 6

Mateo turned six months last July 15 and as I've written in his half a year update, we brought him to Pic-a-Boo and had his picture taken. We finally got his pics last Saturday and I had it scanned today.

These studios that specialize in taking pictures of babies really charge a lot! I think they are taking advantage of parents' weaknesses upon seeing pictures of their children. I initially wanted to have Mateo's at Blow-up Babies but their closest branch is at Gateway so we decided to just try Pic-A-Boo since it's located in SM North's The Block.

Well, I think the costs are at par with other baby studios like Blow-up Babies and The Picture Company. At Pic-A-Boo, their minimum package is 500 pesos for 3 satin prints. So what happens is the client goes in their studio and have different shots taken for around 20 minutes. Afterwards, they show the files and that's when the client chooses the prints they want to order. So you can just imagine how a parent can go overboard upon seeing 50+ cute shots of their little ones. If the total cost of the client's prints reach 4000 pesos, then they get a cd of all the shots taken. Yes, some get to reach that 4000 pesos!

Despite the indecent amount of money they charge, I've asked Ramil if we could go back before Mateo's first birthday. I think I'm turning into a stage mama. Hehe! I'm leaving you with scanned pics of Mateo's studio stint ;)

aluminum cabinets

One of the things we would like to put in our garage are aluminum cabinets. Our garage now don't really have a big roof over it and sometimes when its raining really hard, the tools that we keep there would get wet. Sadly, some of them would get rusty. We've tried using wooden cabinets but these also get rotten when it gets wet most of the time. We are now planning to canvass for prices of aluminum cabinets. Hopefully, we find some that would fit our budget.

a travel must-have

I've been wanting to buy Lonely Planet's travel books on different countries. Although we don't really have any definite plans of going anywhere, it's nice to think that we will be going there someday. Having a travel guide with you, whether it is a book or an actual person, is one of a traveler's must-have whenever going to a place for the first time. Of course, an actual person as a travel guide can never beat having any kind of book.

Actually, it would be a dream come true if I become a travel guide myself! Imagine learning a lot from a place and having the opportunity to share it with other people. It is important that people learn to appreciate things in a certain place. That's something I would love to do even for just a day.

looking for some furniture

We are so excited about moving to a bigger house. We can't wait to have bigger space for some of our furnitures. The house has three rooms and Ramil and I are going gaga planning over what to do with the extra room. We plan to use it as a work room for us and a playroom for Mateo. Although we have enough living room furniture and bedroom furniture, we're going to need some Home Office Furniture for us to put in the spare room. We already have a small bookcase but we might be needing another one for our growing collection of books. It would be nice to let Mateo have his own bookshelf since we plan on buying him loads of books. A nice desk that would accommodate both Ramil's and my things so we can work side-by-side. And of course, what's a home office without a nice, comfortable chair? It's time to do some decorating and shopping! :)

Epazz at work

When I used to work in the insurance industry, we'd often have issues with our intranet software. Before I left, there are testings being done to purchase a new set of software that would, hopefully, make our lives easier. Unfortunately, I didn't know whether they pushed through with it. It's important for any business to have a software like Epazz. The software provides powerful collaboration to help improve workflow. One of the most important things this software has is the ability to customize or personalize itself according to the user's preferences. It also enhances communication between management and employees. One of the secrets to business success is, I believe, better work management. Surely, a software like this can help with that.

going veggie

Believe it or not, I am considering becoming a vegetarian. One of the parents in our school has recently gone down the veggie path and she has nothing but words of praise. According to her, it is certainly improving their whole family's health. I must admit that they are looking good lately too.

Upon learning of their sudden change of diet, I broached to my husband the subject of doing the same. Being the meat-lover that he is, he thought about it for about five seconds and gave a definite no for an answer. We compromised by saying that we would try to have more vegetables in our everyday meals and we are actually aiming to have more veggies than meat. The benefits of becoming a vegetarian are really a lot but right now, we can only settle for more vegetables in our diet. Good thing there are products now that promote vegetables, like Drink My Daily Veggies. This product, made from whole dried veggies, claims to have NO added salt, NO added sugar, and NO preservatives. Good news for those health buffs out there! With this, one can choose to just mix the drink and get his or her daily dose of vegetables.

Eating a lot of vegetables is not just a cliche our parents invented, they are really known to be nutritionally adequate and provides healthful benefits by preventing a lot of known chronic diseases. Among the benefits of eating a lot of vegetables or going vegetarian are lower blood cholesterol levels, lower blood pressure, and consequently, lower chances of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and cancer.

I must seriously plan our weekly menu now, making sure that I put in a lot of vegetables in there. Better health, better life.

going wireless

Aside from our plans to buy another laptop, Ramil and I are also planning to buy a wireless router so we can share our internet connection between the two laptops. This would also solve our problems with our LAN cable. We've tried using wireless connection whenever we are in school, where there's a wireless router and it has made us realize how convenient it is. Having one at home means greater portability for us. We can work anywhere inside the house, even in the bathrooms! :)

free phones now!

Want some free phones? Then check out Wirefly's cell phone sale. They are offering one new cellphone free everyday during the whole sale period, which is until August 26. Ramil and I would sure love new cellphones. It is a back-to-school promo and I'm sure not only students will be interested in them.

I just saw this cute looking LG phone in their catalog. This phone has a soft-touch keypad and external graphic equalizer. It claims to be one of the best music phone out there. Who needs an ipod with a cellphone like this? It has a 1.3 Megapixel Camera and can record videos up to an hour long. The phone even comes in five cool colors: Cherry Red (shown in the picture), Pink, Chocolate, Mint Green, and White. So what are you waiting for? Check out the different promos Wirefly has before it ends! :)

big boy too soon

Our little baby boy is growing up way too fast for us! This is a long delayed update since he's been using that sippy cup a week after he started solids. What made me decide to buy him one was when he gulped down 2 ounces of prune juice in less than two minutes. Of course he was using the bottle but little did I know that the nipple was already broken - split open.

So I gave let him drink the prune juice, took my eyes off him for a few seconds and looked back only to be shocked that the juice is almost all gone. My mind went..."HA?". And not a drop anywhere else. So after finishing the juice, I inspected the bottle and surprise, the nipple has this slit across the top. Good thing Mateo was big enough not to get choked with the flow of the fluid coming out. That's when I thought that he's ready for a sippy cup :)

He loves his sippy cup now. He also loves biting on the spout to relieve his teething pains. LOL. After his solid feeding, I'd always let him drink water or juice from his sippy cup. I would just show it to him and he'd readily grab it by its handles and eagerly put the spout in his mouth. Good boy. Hehe!

better rate at rate genius

We've had some work done on the red car these past few weeks. The red car has been needing some of these works to lengthen its existence. As much as we would want to just buy a newer one, finances right now are a bit tight so we are forced to have these necessary repairs. Still, I'm checking out some auto refinance options. The rates at RateGenius are worth checking out. They help in looking for lenders that offer the best rates and terms. That would sure make looking for one so much easier. Just a few more months and hopefully, we get to have our go at those rates.

single motherhood

When I was still in the corporate world, my days would consist of a lot of chikahan with my then-officemates. During one of these chikahan with a male officemate, we got to talking about some people we know from high school specifically about a girl we both know. This girl got pregnant a few years back and has had several boyfriends since then.

Suddenly, a female officemate interrupted our conversation and asked what happened to the baby. My male officemate told her that the baby has been with the girl ever since. My female officemate commented "Kawawa naman talaga ang girls pag ganyan no?", referring to the girl's predicament with disdain clearly showing on her face. I sincerely doubt her kawawa statement and I can tell that just from listening in on our conversation, she has already passed judgment on this girl. I retorted by saying "Ba't sya kawawa, she gets to keep the baby!" She was taken aback, considered what I said and wisely chose to say nothing more.

for the fit only

I used to have an officemate who just love going to the gym and is into any kind of sports. I guess it figures that he also only goes for sporty gals. Being very active, he has a well-formed body and looks very toned indeed. You can only guess the number of women who find him attractive. Add to that the fact that he is a gentleman and really nice to boot. Unfortunately for some of this girls, because of his liking for anything sporty, he likes them fit also. Maybe I should tell him to check out some fitness singles in fitnessdates.com. Talk about getting fit and finding a date. Since he would often take the girl out on dates that requires them to be fit, he might as well try this site out. I'm sure it's going to be a very fit date ;)

big move moved

Our big move has been moved to sometime middle of August. It so happens that the owner's daughter from Canada has arrived last Sunday and plans to go back to Canada on August 5. Although we are a bit disappointed since we are even hoping to move before July ends, I guess this just means that we are not ready for the move yet.

Ramil and I have little to no experience with moving. We've only experienced this once, when we brought our things from our parents' houses to the house we will be renting. We even brought our parents along during that move since we felt that the things that need to be done are too much for two persons. This time around we have our helper, Cat. But still, I've asked my mama to help out.

We have yet to pack our things and put them in boxes. I have yet to call a realiable mover that will bring our big things over there. Ramil and I plan to bring the little things that will fit in the car little by little. We could just imagine the horror of needing international movers if ever we decide to migrate. Not to mention needing some auto shipping if you have a good car you'd like to bring along.

Relocating can really be such a hassle if you don't know what you're doing. Especially since we have a baby to think of amidst all the hustle and bustle. And then once you have everything moved to the new place, you have to spend a lot of time unpacking and putting things in their proper places. I'm not really complaining though, I love the place we will be moving in. I just need the time to do all the things I would like to do :)

new sports craze

My husband, the typical guy that finds any and all sports interesting, has rekindled his interest for hockey. I still remember watching The Mighty Ducks and getting all curious about the sport. While doing some internet surfing, I stumbled upon hockeysfuture.com and showed it to my husband. He enjoyed browsing the site, learning all about the sport and reading about the hockey draft. According to him, he's going to be spending some time going to the site. Oh well, I guess I just have to wait for this sport to go through his system. For the mean time, I might as well try to find out a thing or two myself about the sport that made the movie The Mighty Ducks such a hit.

a rich experience

I've always believed that traveling is one of the best ways to enjoy life. Although it is something we are not able to do right now because of our limited budget and our little one, it is something that Ramil and I plan to do especially when Mateo and more of our future kids are bigger. I love looking at pictures of places I want to visit and think that someday, I will have my own picture in that place.

I admire people who have the luxury of time and money to go places. Traveling is really an enriching experience, you get to see and learn so much. Not to mention that it is a humbling experience - seeing the world can put you in your rightful place, that the world is so much bigger than your own little world. These and a lot more are things that we would like to teach our children and exploring different places is the best way to do it.

i can't wait

We're moving in two weeks! I can hardly contain myself, we will be living five minute away from school! Yippee! It only means less travel time and more Mateo time. Since classes started, I am away from home between 2:00 to 5:00 but I still miss my babsy a lot. Once we've moved I can reduce that away time by 30 minutes to an hour. Great! Not to mention all the other perks this new place offers - bigger space, three bedrooms (though we'll only use two), two bathrooms, semi-furnished with a sala set and an airconditioner. Whoohee! We'll start packing our things this week since we don't have the time to do it all in one whoosh. I've also started getting numbers of truckers in our area. We want to hire a closed truck, preferably with truck bed liner to make sure that we won't be left with damaged things after this move. I've also told my mama already that we're going to need their help on moving day since we're going to need all the help we can get.

Mateo updates

Mateo is half a year old today and it's time for some updates on him. About a week ago, he has started doing this:

He can now support himself on all fours and would do some back and forth rocking movements while on this position. He can now do crawling moves with his legs but his arms always seem to be stuck to the mattress. He is also a mainstay on the floor now because we absolutely do not want to leave him on the bed since he's been moving around and doing some 360 degrees while on his tummy. I don't want to leave him on his playpen too because the space seems too little for me. What we do is put a thin mattress on the floor and he gets to roll around and learn to crawl as much as he can.

In celebration of his sixth month, Ramil and I, together with my mama and sister, brought Mateo to Pic-a-Boo in SM North yesterday. We all had fun choosing costumes for him and putting them on him. Unfortunately, he was already fussy when we got there so he refused to smile more than half the time. Prints will be claimed next week so I'll just post them then. We also plan to go back sometime before his first birthday to have more cute shots taken :)

Before we went there though, we decided to have our own picture taking outside my parents' house.

me&Mateo Mateo&Tita

our small family

We are also starting to see small white buds on Mateo's gums, which explains his irritability at times coupled with frantic attempts to gnaw at something. I've been looking for some Gerber teething biscuits but I couldn't find any. Mateo doesn't like usual kind of teethers and I've had to resort to putting my thumb/forefinger inside his mouth and massage his gums. I've also given him Calpol on occasions when he would cry out as if in pain.

My mama has also been bugging us that Mateo is thin (huh?) and has discreetly given instructions to yaya Cat to feed him more. Hehe! According to Mateo's pedia, he is heavy for his age but I've noticed that he hasn't been gaining weight as much as before. I attribute this to the tsismoso in him. Feedings would often be interrupted whenever he would hear someone talking. The only way for him to have an uninterrupted feeding session is to isolate him.

I can't believe our little baby is half-way through to his first birthday already!

missing my old work

When I was still in the actuarial science field and doing corporate work, I was exposed to a variety of investments. As a member of the actuarial department, we were always involved in different kinds of work, even ones that don't necessarily concern our department. Other departments have also come to expect support from us one way or the other. We have been involved in marketing, sales, IT, and accounting. It was also a good thing because I learned a lot of things like marketing strategies and fixed asset accounting. I kind of miss the work sometimes. With teaching, instead of being exposed to a lot of different fields and learning from them, what I get is exposure to different kinds of kids and situations and learning to deal with them. I still think my work as a teacher has prepared me better for parenthood than any kind of office work. So I think it's okay to miss it from time to time but I'm happy where I am right now.

all gray

It's been a real pain to get an opportunity in PayPerPost lately. Everything seems to be going gray real fast! Everytime I go to my opportunity page, most of them are either gray or pink. I haven't been meeting my target these past few days. LOL. Good thing I still get some from other paid blogging opportunities. But PPP has always been my main earner. Waaah! I have to practice my clicking fingers to be able to grab those white opps reaaaaallllly fast! :)

better student, better teacher

One of our co-teachers recently enrolled herself in an online university. As expected, Ramil and I quizzed her about it. She plans to take education units and according to her, she can't seem to fix her schedule to find the time to go an actual university. According to her, with an online university, you can fix your schedule the way you want it and you can finish your studies with just an internet connection, no need to leave your house at all! Among the many online universities out there is Capella University, an accredited and fully online university. They offer a variety of graduate and undergraduate programs. One of these days, we just might enroll in one of its many programs. Because the only way to become better teachers is to become better students.

looking for webhosting services

My other blog has its own domain and on a free ad-supported hosting package that went with the domain. I am getting a bit tired with all the ads on top of the page that goes with the free hosting services and I am planning to pay for hosting services instead to get rid of the ads. So I am now in search of a good webhost with good, affordable hosting packages. Since Ramil also has his own domain with the same ad-supported hosting package, I'm looking for packages that would let us host several domains. I've found some that lets you host an unlimited number of domains with up to 500GB of storage space but the price can go up to $9 per month. Since we're not really that internet savvy, I figured this amount would just go to waste. I've found cheap packages that only costs around $4 per month but only allows hosting of 1 domain. I need something in the middle of these two extreme packages. I just found it with Host208 - Webhosting Services! Their cheapest package costs only $4.50 per month and lets you host up to 3 domains! Sounds perfect for us. The next package, which costs $8.50 per month, lets you host up to 30 domains. We could even choose that one if we decide to host more than 3 domains. Maybe I could even start another blog. I guess I better move my other blog to another webhost.

a safe travel

My grandmother has expressed her desire to visit her children and relatives she haven't seen in a long time. My mama is supportive of the idea except that the places she plans to go to are varied and quite far from where she lives. I broached the idea of getting an elderly travel insurance for my grandmother to ease her mind a bit.

I browsed the net for some products and I saw Cover my Travels. The site is pretty easy to manage and they offer an insurance quote in seconds. They offer a wider range of travel insurance than other companies. One great advantage are the hazardous activities that are included in their travel insurance at no extra cost. This could ease your mind especially if you're going on a vacation and would like to try activities like white water rafting, snorkeling, wind surfing, scuba diving, golf, etc. They even offer single trip insurance up to age 79. Good news for the oldies. Although my grandmother doesn't really plan on doing any hazardous activity (I hope not!), she could get a travel insurance with Cover my Travels despite her old age.

my friend's quest for romance

I have a lot of single friends who are getting frantic about their single status. Most of them being just 4 years shy of 30, those without boyfriends feel as if they need to do something about it lest their biological clocks stop ticking. Some have tried bbw personals, for my big beautiful women friends, with the sincere quest for that elusive Mr. Right. Having heard several successful relationships that started off as just an internet friendship, I have expressed my confidence to some of them that the idea of bbw dating is not really that far-off. A friend of mine, who's turning 31 next year and still has no boyfriend, has been inspired by the stories I've told her. She's being very careful about the whole thing and is currently in exchanging emails with several prospects. I wish her nothing but love and luck.

wanna study?

Although going to a traditional big universities will never go out of date, more and more people are considering online universities. Enrolling in an online university like Capella University has many advantages. Being able to study in your own time is the main reason why a lot of people choose to enroll here. The quality of education here may be just as good as the traditional ones. I've read about Tammy Alexander, a master's degree student at Capella University. She has been awarded the 2006 FBI Director's Community Leadership Award. She is currently studying education with an emphasis on enrollment management. Having a student like her in a university says a lot about how credible the university is. Surely, good students and good schools come hand in hand.

Brazilian adventure

My uncle is now living in Brazil with a Brazilian wife and three beautiful Brazilian daughters. How he came to this country is a long story. He used to be a seaman like my father and during one of their stops in Brazil, he jumped ship and never looked back. We didn't hear from him for more than ten years. He lived in Rio de Janeiro all those times, met his wife, started a family and a restaurant business.

My father mentioned about visiting him in Brazil some time in the future. Even though he's been there several times, being a seaman himself, he's never had the chance to visit Ipanema and the Copacabana Beach. He doesn't want to stay with his brother while there though, he prefers to try Cheap Hotels in Rio to get a better experience of Brazil. I guess there's a lot of brother bonding moments coming up for them.

hot latino loving

There was a time when Mexican telenovelas were all the rage. Me and my sister got so enamored with the Mexican stars, we grew to be Thalia's fans. I don't know if it's just me but I find latinas and latinos to be very beautiful people. I only have to count the number of times they crowned a latina Ms. Universe to prove that I am not alone in my opinion. Our helper got so tickled by Sergio and all those hot latin men. Having enough knowledge about computers, I found out that she tried some latina dating. It seems that she has been checking out some latina personals in the hopes of meeting someone who would be willing to correspond with her on a regular basis. I think she has big dreams of finding some hot latino loving online.

in pursuit of knowledge

It is fairly easy to get an education nowadays. Ramil and I have been thinking of pursuing an additional education degree, or at least get the necessary 18 units. Most probably, we would be taking up an online course that wouldn't hinder us from maintaining our current jobs. Right now, there are numerous online education opportunities. One university, Capella university, is a fully online university that offers graduate programs in business, psychology, information technology, human services, and education. Pursuing additional degrees have never been this easy. All you need is an internet connection and you're good to go. Some even offer scholarships so financial status need not be a problem.

the faucet's on

He's now officially the spit monster. Yep, Mateo just found this initially-cute-but-turning-into-an-irritating habit:

He has learned that his mouth and tongue, together with his saliva, can function as a fountain. He now greets us with his tongue stuck out and a shower of saliva. He looked so adorable during the first few times but with the amount of drool that can now be constantly found on his chin, on his neck, on his hand, on his shirt, on our bedsheets, on our arms, on our shoulders, and on our faces, we are slowly trying to make him understand that it's not very funny anymore. LOL. Seriously, we still find him very adorable. We'll let him have fun with this new habit for now, until the next new trick he will discover ;)
